The only TV channel I watch is IBC. It stands for Info-Business Channel. They don’t broadcast any news programs, nor do they have any economic-themed shows. They only play music. They don’t have a wide selection of songs, the same bands repeat over and over. Block Out, Wroom, Obojeni Program, Instant Karma, Madame Piano, Kolja… it’s roughly the same every day, just not in the same order.
They don’t even play commercials… they just air a clip between songs with a sad guy walking down the street saying “Bad luck, bro, bad luck…”
I was listening to my TV radio and lying down. I kept thinking about Boyana, since our walk on Monday. I don’t feel like doing anything. I’ll probably be like this for days, thinking about what to do, unless I do something immediately. I could send her an SMS, ask her to meet up again. Why wait? On the other hand, maybe she doesn’t want anything, maybe she’s just acting a little freer, and it wouldn’t be nice if I misinterpreted that. Well, I’ll write it, then I’ll think whether to send it or not. How would I know whether I’ll send it if I don’t know what the message is? I should just write something simple.
“Hey, Boyana! I’d like to go for a walk again if you’re free soon. That’s all I’ve been thinking about these days…”
Now, should I send it? It’s a bit late. Never mind, I won’t overthink it. Tap – sent. Done. Now I feel really good. I’m peacefully listening to IBC.
I didn’t wait two minutes for a reply.
“I’d love to, but don’t you need to go for a walk with some younger colleague?”
“No. I only want to walk with one colleague.”
“What year were you born?”
“I’ll tell you tomorrow at the quay.”
“Can we meet tomorrow at 6? We’ll talk.”
“Sure. See you in front of your building.”
After I finally sent the SMS, I should have been doing something. We added a new vehicle in the game that can quickly transport workers and soldiers. The problem is that the workers don’t get in the vehicle when clicked, and that’s the task that’s been waiting for me for a while. I tried to do it now, but I couldn’t concentrate, not even close. I decided to take the evening off.
